The station was built in 1856. The station is the oldest
existing station in New Jersey.

The building was built in 1928 and was added to the
National Register of Historic Places on August 24, 1990.
The bank that was headquartered here changed its name
to South Jersey National Bank in the 1960s and to
Heritage Bank in the 1970s. It later merged with
Midlantic National Bank, which was ultimately acquired
by PNC Bank.

Following the Battle of Red Bank, defeated Hessian
troops used this house as a regrouping point before
returning to the safety of Philadelphia. Built in 1726,
with a 1788 addition, the Georgian brick building,
is operated as a museum by the Camden County
Historical Society

Victor Building

The revitalization of this historic landmark symbolizes the
rebirth of Camden on its 175th Anniversary. RCA Victor
Building #17, completed in 1916, was widely known as the
"Nipper Building" after the company's Nipper the Dog logo.
It became the site of the most significant developments in
phonograph, radio and television history. In 2003 it was
converted to residential use by Dranoff Properties and
renamed The Victor.

Built in 1858. Room on right is a residence of the cemetery
and room on left is a chapel for funeral services. Beneath is
a vault used in the winter when ground is too frozen.

Gabriel Daveis Tavern House (aka Hillman Hospital House)

This tavern was built in 1756 near the Big Timber Creek and
housed boatmen who used the creek to ship goods to
Philadelphia. It was designated a hospital by George Washington
during the Revolutionary War.

Within this building then a tavern-house, the Council
of Safety for New Jersey was organized March 18th 1777.
Herin also, in September of the same year the
Legislature unanimously resolved that thereafter the work
“state” should be substituted for “colony” in all public writs
and Commissions. Operated from 1750 - 1790.

This house built in colonial times was used during the
Revolutionary War as aGuard House for persons suspected
of aiding the British cause and brought for trial before
The Council of Safety then meeting in the Indian King.

Reeves-Grover House

The east half of this house was built by the Alexanders in 1813,
on the site of an earlier frame house owned by Lydia Bates.
Subsequent owners were Benjamin Cooper and
Samuel M. Reeves. The west half of the home was added
by the later owner in 1835. Reeves’ granddaughter married
George B. Glover and she inherited the house. Thereafter,
through the years it was known as the Glover homestead.

The congregation was founded in 1789 and the current church
building was designed by George Watson Hewitt and
consecrated by the Rt. Rev. John Scarborough on
November 9, 1881.
